Merge[edit]

I have merged the list of notable market research firms from the article Market research into this article. While good intentioned, it was becoming quite spammy, and since this article already exists, it's more appropriate to list them here and keep the main article focused. With these additions, I make no claim of importance for any of them, and in fact a few of them looked non-notable to me. Please feel free to remove any that aren't worthy of inclusion here. --AbsolutDan (talk) 06:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Add company details[edit]

Frost & Sullivan is a leading global firm in the Market Research business but for some reason i cannot add it. Offices are around the world, the biggest being in Mountain View, California.

Hi, There is a list of Marketing Research firms here. Can I add a link in here that links to a free resource of market research reports? Luapnampahc 12:49, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Most likely not, as that's not really what this is a list of. I suggest you post the link to this talk page first so others can see what you're proposing. —Moondyne 14:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks. The site is http://www.free-research.com and is currently being moved to a new server, should be up in next few days. Would appreciate a review to see if its relevant. I have been in this field for over ten years, and know all the names on the list on this page. Luapnampahc 12:14, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. The site is now back up again. The site is http://www.free-research.com. It is not just a collection of free internet sources, it is a single point of market research reports, country guides, market insights, association links and company information. Could one of your editors please take a look as I feel it would be worthy of inclusion. Luapnampahc 07:39, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No thank you. It is a low content and off-topic subscription based site you have been spamming all over Wikipedia. Kuru talk 13:55, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Kuru. Sites requiring registration are not of much use here. —Moondyne 14:07, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK. One more try. The site no longer requires registration, with a lot of content freely available....??? The site is http://www.free-research.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luapnampahc (talkcontribs) 22:55, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still requires registration. Please stop spamming this site. Kuru talk 23:03, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Research Company[edit]

You might want to link to the wikipedia page on Goldline Research. It is another Market Research company located in Marin County, CA, USA. KrugerK (talk) 16:11, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Add Wakefield Research's wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wakefield_Research) to the list of market research companies in the United States. Juliekittkafx (talk) 17:27, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Wakefield Research is a new page nominated for speedy deletion and sourced entirely to non-independent sources. It will likely not meet the criteria for inclusion on this page. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:16, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear editors,

I just wanted to add one company in the list of MR Companies. The company is operating worldwide but its headquarter is in Bulgaria.

Website - www.womatrix.com, I will work on the wikipedia page now. Wenelinow (talk) 14:00, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: You need to create the page on the firm first, and that page needs to be accepted as notable, before it can be added here. You might want to read this page on creating your first article and I suggest the use of the Article Wizard to help you. Good luck. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:28, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please add the following marketing research company operating across East and Southeast Asia (http://www.abnimpact.com/):

China - ABN Impact Charigun (talk) 03:04, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: We do not accept firms without a Wikipedia article. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 08:42, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Under companies listed in the United States, Numerator should be listed (https://www.numerator.com/). They are market research company with offices around the world but their headquarters are located in Chicago, IL. Jillbadlotto (talk) 20:18, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

They do not appear to have a Wikipedia article. – Þjarkur (talk) 21:05, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I want to include CIMRU in the Market Research Companies in Canada as below.

As noted above, there needs to be an article on Wikipedia prior to adding to this list. Kuru (talk) 11:54, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

i want to add marketing research companies from Pakistan

You can suggest them here on this talk page, but we only add entries that are already notable enough to have an article here. – Thjarkur (talk) 13:00, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
