Incomplete[edit]

@WolfmanSF:

I translated the list to the nl.wiki and found that there are a number of mammals missing in the rodents. The whole suborder Hystricomorpha, and I think Neacomys dubosti. Jcwf (talk) 19:52, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a good source for them, please add them. Thank you, SchreiberBike | ⌨  20:42, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nope.
@Jcwf: Below is the current listing from the IUCN (which is not up to date - I added the rabbit). This can be obtained from their web site with the appropriate "advanced" combined taxonomy and land regions search. Please delete this when you're done with it. Thanks, WolfmanSF (talk) 07:26, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. At least the four missing primates, the two porcupines and the cavia are there. (They are missing on article page. But still no capibara. Jcwf (talk) 07:45, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Good catch. The problem may be in going from the IUCN's range description for the capybara, which lists "the Guyanas", to their country listing, which lists only Guyana out of those three countries. This could be a problem with other species too. WolfmanSF (talk) 08:49, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
