Choosing an image for the list

@User:Pyxis Solitary, as you did elsewhere, you removed my proposed image. When saying "Why should she be selected as representative of this list? Adding images needs consensus. And if it can't be based on everyone having a say -- it's best not done," you must forget that you are supposed to assume good faith. That mustn't be part of your calculus there. Anyway, while I wait, here's one of my ideas for a good image, other than a compilation are some good images I found which could work:

As with my response in List of bisexual characters in television talk page and List of gay characters in television talk page: this is not an article about the sexual orientation or the lesbian community. It's also not a list about lesbian actresses or actresses in general. This article is a list of television characters that are lesbian. If there is going to be an image included in the page it should be an image of a lesbian character in a television program because that's what the article is about. There are many character pages that contain an image of the character; some are screenshots but most are images from press kits promoting the program. The character doesn't have to be one that is highly popular, either, as the image of a lesbian character should be an impartial representation that's not beholden to present-day renown or fandom. These are a few of the ones that are lesbian: Thelma Bates, Tina Carter, Tara Chambler, Alex Danvers, Ezri Dax, Franky Doyle, Joan Ferguson, Kima Greggs, Erica Hahn, Jeri Hogarth, Janet King, Tara Maclay, Shane McCutcheon, Nicky Nichols, Juliet Nightingale, Nasreen Paracha, Bill Potts, Arizona Robbins, Alex Vause. Again, I agree with you on that. I thought that the L Word, tentatively, could be good, but I think going through the ones you listed are better. I'd probably choose a specific image rather than doing a compilation, which I'm still unsure how to do, as I've done it before. Historyday01 (talk) 15:25, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
