Cigarette cards[edit]

The 1936 Lambert and Butler cigarette cards series of dance band leaders seems to be a good guide to who was most significant in their heyday:

Of these, Sydney Kyte and Brian Lawrance are the only names who currently lack WP articles. NB. The cards also included a few Americans: Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, Rudy Vallee and Paul Whiteman.—TrottieTrue (talk) 03:10, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
