Red-billed Streamertail[edit]

This list includes the Red-billed Streamertail, which does not link to an article. But the taxonomic list includes the Green-and-black Streamertail, and give the same scientific name, Trochilus polytmus. The name Green-and-black Streamertail does link to an article, which says that the bird is also known as the Red-billed Streamertail. 72.66.100.68 03:55, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Stephen Kosciesza[reply]

Just figured out how to make it link. 72.66.100.68 04:06, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Stephen Kosciesza[reply]

July 15, 2020 revisions[edit]

In this update to IOC 10.2, the following changes were made:

  • Update the reference and counts in the introduction.
  • Delete the previous text describing two subfamilies; the study is no longer applicable because of the many changes in hummingbird taxonomy since it was published.
  • Revise two common names.
  • Revise 57 binomials.
  • Revise the sequence of species.
