Untitled[edit]

This is a list for all the geographic names of Iranian origin, regardless when the terms were invented. As long as the name is used, it belongs on the list. Nagorno Karabakh is partly derived from Iranian languages, therefore it belongs. I reinserted it.Hajji Piruz 21:56, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parishan, do not bring the Karabakh dispute onto this page.Hajji Piruz 15:10, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Iranian places names[edit]

Hello. In the bigger countries such as Iran where there are hundreds of place names of Iranian origin, I think its best just to list the main ones, such as the major cities or regions, instead of all of them (that would be too much!). For the rest, we can just refer people to the main pages, such as List of Iranian Cities. What do you guys think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalifo (talkcontribs) 20:38, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
