Contested deletion[edit]

This article in its present form is not meant to be more than a start, so it is not surprising that it has been found severely lacking in its present form. There are articles with lists of mammals of Ethiopia and birds of Ethiopia. There is a need for parallel articles with fish, reptiles, etc. I began the article today, sitting in a meeting. I hope that others with the requisite expertise will contribute to this article. I respectfully ask that it be allowed to stand for a month before it is deleted. Let's see it if changes enough. I have added a list myself but those which are native need a (native) in brackets. The article though wasn't a start, it was empty!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:36, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
