Untitled[edit]

Hey guys,

to avoid adding a long list of irrelevant information on the main article of Rogers Arena, I have just created this page for any editors whom wish to provide a list of entertainment events held at the venue. Please provide any reliable references to the information you add on this page, thank you. Xinyang Aliciabritney (talk) 09:42, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: The changes are not supported by neutral, independent, reliable sources. Please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.  The first source you provided does not verify your claim. Your second source is by a fan site which is not reliable. Your third source is a picture which is not a reliable source as it can be faked. Lightoil (talk) 02:47, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
how about some concert reviews instead, will that be ok? Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 23:56, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add show[edit]

Please add that U2 performed on April 28th and 29th 2005. here's a source Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 17:37, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The source provided supports the 14th and 15th of May 2015, as do the following.[1][2][3][4] The source does say "the band apparently rehearsing for its 2005 Vertigo tour in town and shooting a video for city of Blinding Lights at Rogers Arena", but this doesn't support your requested addition. I note that you have troubled history when it comes to attempting to add content that isn't supported by the citation.[1] I will echo Boing! said Zebedee "if you can not find a reliable source for content that you want to add, *do not [try to] add the content*" Pabsoluterince (talk) 13:03, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was provided this specific source by @Valereee. But I know that there are sources that I will find eventually proving U2 stopped there on the Vertigo Tour. Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 23:26, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pabsoluterince I hate to be persistent with this but I found a review for the show . I'll search till I'm at death's door for a source to convince everybody that U2 did perform at the General Motors Place. They even mention that "At a show last week in Vancouver, Bono scolded Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin for not spending enough on foreign aid" in The Chicago Tribune which in the article takes place during the Vertigo Tour. It's really strange that on the wikipedia page for the tour they list 2 Vancouver shows but there is no source that I see on that wiki page that they did stop in Vancouver, therefore if there is no reliable source to be found possible to be added to the list of shows should that mean we should remove it from the tour's wiki page?
Please note that I do not desire to be picking conflicts but I'm just trying to make a point. Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 23:50, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pabsoluterince here's proof they've at least came to the GM Place on April 28th 2005. Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 00:18, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add a show (third time's the charm)[edit]

They even mention that "At a show last week in Vancouver, Bono scolded Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin for not spending enough on foreign aid" in The Chicago Tribune which in the article takes place during the Vertigo Tour. They also mentioned all the times U2 has performed in Vancouver according to this radio station in the area. (P.S. if you're wondering why I'm starting new sections, it's actually because when I made responses on the other two I felt like nobody was seeing them.) I took a look and found a suitable source.[2] Pabsoluterince (talk) 07:50, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I knew that there was proof. Thomasthedarkenguine (talk) 23:15, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Truth = verifiability on Wikipedia. Do not let your personal opinions lead you to act otherwise. You wasted time by pretending that your sources verified your additions. Pabsoluterince (talk) 23:27, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
