While I dont oppose consolidating the list into one sortable table, this change makes reading really confusing, especially with how the non-resident offices are listed. I would prefer the existing system of having note letters after the name or the title listing the non-resident ambassador offices. The early trade commissioners/charges should be at the top of the list, not the bottom, as they were the first holders.Siegfried Nugent (talk) 11:32, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Siegfried Nugent: Thanks. I hear your point and while my initial attempt was a tad clumsy, there is some merit in having just one list with columns that clearly identify title of office, location of officeholder and any other office held concurrently. I can see no clear reason why tables should be broken down in seperate tables UNLESS there are officeholders whose period in office overlap with other officeholders; then it can be confusing. If the flow is sequential, one table should suffice. I have WP:BOLD edited on the basis of other edits made to Australian diplomatic posts, where there appears to be no significant opposition to this common sense approach. We do need to find a solution for those lists where the period in office overlaps. Thanks. Rangasyd (talk) 04:56, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
