hospitality event energy

Mixing Utilities (Distributors) and Retail Energy Providers[edit]

This page contains a confusing mix of actual utilities (companies that distribute power, maintain lines, etc.) and Retail Energy Providers (REPs). REPs exist in deregulated markets and buy power from Utilities and sell it to Consumers (sometimes through Brokers). Can we clean up this list so that it just shows Utilities? Maybe make a separate list for REPs in Deregulated States?Msteinbergtx (talk) 19:09, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
