The result was to keep the article for expansion.

As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out whether this topic is notable enough to have its own article. While the Tunis metro is, in principle, certainly a valid topic for an article, this particular one is in a very bad state. It does not give any context, justs lists the stations, and in that respect is quite unencyclopedic. There seems to be no other article about the metro where this one could be merged. So, can (and should) the article be improved, or would it be better to discard it? Opinions are welcome; please add your comments below. --B. Wolterding 12:50, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To start with keep. There are some great FA classed article on various metros across the world. Just because this is not a first world industrialised English speaking country doesn't mean we should delete this article because it isn't great (WP:Worldview or something). Generally speaking (i think) there is some policy somewhere, that all railway stations (and that's what most metro's are rather than tram stops) are notable. Thirdly lists are perfectly valid on Wikipedia (we have "featured lists" !) so we can't moan there. Overall its a starting point, and without any of the right kind of sources to hand or local knowledge (and language skills) i can't personally help this article much more. The information would be better in articles about the five lines; one example on a different city is Green Line "B" Branch. Until those articles are written, this list should remain. --NE2 15:33, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
