Sources[edit]

Could you please add more sources before you move this to mainspace? It looks like you are mostly citing from Snodgrass's book.Zigzig20s (talk) 18:07, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, most of the citations are from the Snodgrass Demott book because it contains several lists of famous Tennessee Freemasons, and it is providing an excellent starting point for this article. I understand that citing a single source is not a best practice, but that's why I started this list here in userspace instead of mainspace. I will supplement with other sources as I come across them. I'm very busy right now and will likely not work on this for a few weeks, but feel free to research more sources yourself. I'm not trying to assert ownership of this topic, so feel free to contribute, even while it's in userspace. Deflagro Contribs/Talk 20:54, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is often mentioned in obituaries.Zigzig20s (talk) 00:11, 29 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notable as a sub-topic?[edit]

I am not sure that this list passes our notability criteria. What makes Tennessee Freemasons specifically distinct (in terms of notability) from Freemasons from other states and countries? Note that we already have a comprehensive, alphabetized List of Freemasons. I think we should fold this list into the broader one. Thoughts? Blueboar (talk) 16:37, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
