Notability, sources templates[edit]

Please do not remove the sources template unless sources are present in the article. There is no magic event that allows for placement or removal of the notability template, but I believe that it applies because it is not clear why this list is notable enough for inclusion in the project. I am restoring both templates. Please respond here if removing them. Erechtheus 21:09, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see that a source has been added. Unfortunately, the source does not actually pertain to a single person on this list. Is this original research? Wikipedia is not the place for original research. Erechtheus 15:22, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have included additional sources to verify the information presented. I believe that I am presenting and preserving a valuable piece of comedy history. Of course, I welcome advice and suggestions as I work to improve this article. Thank you. Justthefacts10 01:50 22 September 2006

Notability of individual entries[edit]

I'd like to see the names without active wikilinks removed, as is typical for Wikipedia lists. Not enforcing this criterion allows anyone who showed up for an open mike to list themselves as "performers", and also makes it impossible to identify non-performers listing themselves or others for personal entertainment. How about it? I will probably do this myself in a few days if I see no objections. ubiquity (talk) 22:04, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
