Use of term Liberal?[edit]

I think it is inconsistent to talk about Liberal MPs at this election, when the main 1857 United Kingdom general election election article uses the term Whig and the Liberal Party is generally agreed to have been official founded in 1859. Dunarc (talk) 19:20, 22 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
