This list should be part of the main Hatzalah page[edit]

In my view, this page should not be separate, and should be included in the main Hatzalah page. Under a new section called "List of Hatzalah Organizations" and within that section, each division should be in bold, and then have the relevant text about that individual org. Opinions welcome. -- VarifiedEditor (talk) 08:12, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Continuing part of this discussion here so that other editors can find it more easily.

With the exception of the Israeli section, most of the citations do not point to directory sites. Analysis of the interrelationships and practices of chapters is better kept in the main article. I'm not sure what you mean about cleaning up the references; I have used citation templates to format proper citations that won't be subject to link rot and will automatically update footnote order and format as the Manual of Style is gradually changed. You'll notice that the templates allow me to list cached versions of pages where the original page link is dead (e.g. Los Angeles and Antwerp). —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 21:56, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No issues with the format or cached copies, especially since some of the sites have gone quiet (probably rabbinic rulings?). Tweaked Israel a little bit, there are two organizations, based on whatever public sources are available, not clear at this point if they will forever go their separate ways (see main article updates and references to the split). Also, bulleted the two Passic/Clifton branches for clarity, instead of just having two footnotes to reference them, and eliminated North Jersey as a separate entity, since it is identical to one of the two P/C chapters, despite having a separate web site (the web site content makes it clear that this is so, with identical publisher, contact info, number of ambulances, and one explicitly saying it is a division of the other).
So, when will we see Hatzolah of Ellington? You'll have to replace my pareve cookies with pareve chulent and kugel.Dovid (talk) 06:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
