Untitled[edit]

I noted that the image contains sweden but sweden is not listed as an operator, neither military nor civilian. 83.252.217.179 (talk) 21:26, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because SAS has been listed under International rather than the individual nations. MilborneOne (talk) 21:30, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

South Korea?[edit]

Tha map indicates South Korea was an operator. I flew many times circa 1972-74 Seoul to Jeju round-trip in what I believe to have been a Fokker Friendship F 27. ~ XKPCV — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.249.80 (talk) 20:23, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks, you are right I have added Korean Air Lines to the list they operated six or seven from the late 1960s. MilborneOne (talk) 21:05, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article is outdated[edit]

Hi, is there anyone who could update/expand the information? Currently, the article reads "In August 2006 a total of 164 Fokker F27 aircraft (all variants) remain in airline service around the world. Major operators include: Libyan Arab Airlines (14), Merpati Nusantara Airlines (11), WDL Aviation (11) and Mountain Air Cargo (11)." As of today, I think none of these airline operates the F27 anymore. Also, the article relies only on one single source, a 2006 flightglobal article.
