"Refbloat"[edit]

The article has correctly been tagged since 2016 for "refbloat", i.e. a messy and inappropriate use of citations in the lead, but actually far too few in the article body. Clearly the solution should be to move the citations and rewrite the body to make use of them appropriately. Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:11, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP:LEADCITE has nothing to do with bloat. There isn't any bloat and hasn't been any at any point in this page's history. Removed. — LlywelynII 10:46, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Inventions"[edit]

While we're on the top, this is certainly an essential topic for the Dutch if it's our only overall treatment of Dutch exploration as a whole but it has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of invention. Removed. — LlywelynII 10:47, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
