My edit[edit]

I've just about blanked the article. Anything that goes back in needs to have specific, in-text citations to reliable sources. "See the massive list of grab-bag links on talk page" doesn't cut it. Source it properly before reinserting anything. -- Jonel|Speak 15:31, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Double jeopardy[edit]

Having "charges dropped" does not preclude future prosecution unless a legal contractual agreement to that effect is drawn up and executed. "Double jeopardy" only applies to charges relating to a crime for which someone has been acquitted (or even convicted, depending on the circumstances), and fulfilled the terms of his/her sentence.
