Marcus EdwardsLil' Keke — It is Wikipedia custom to list rappers by their stage names rather than their government names. For instance, there are no substantial articles titled Bernard Freeman, Hakeem Seriki, Stayve Thomas, or Paul Slayton; these articles are titled by the peoples' stage names, which are Bun B, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, and Paul Wall, respectively. Likewise, this page should be titled Lil' Keke, because it is the name the rap world knows him by. Tom Danson (talk) 03:31, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • Weak support. This is what we do with other singers known by stage names, from Lola Montez to Madonna (actress); I support weakly because I don't know that this is the common stage name. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 22:21, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • If you need more strength for your support, take a look at this. All his albums have him credited as Lil' Keke. Tom Danson (talk) 00:18, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
