Question: was the Lieutenant-Colonel George Benson, Commandant of the fifty-man Ambassador's Guard and member of the Macartney Embassy, the same as this Lieutenant General George Benson? Probably yes, but I cannot find any source. Underwaterbuffalo (talk) 21:08, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
