Actual title?[edit]

There seems to be some discrepancy as to what the actual title of this song was. I've listed it as "Lil' Red Riding Hood", because this is how it is spelled on both the Billboard and RIAA websites, but it's also commonly listed as either "Li'l Red Riding Hood" or "Little Red Riding Hood". Does anyone know what the correct spelling of the title is? Oldiesmann (talk) 01:20, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further investigation, I have moved the article to "Li'l Red Riding Hood". This is how it's spelled on the album artwork, which was taken directly from Sam the Sham's website. Oldiesmann (talk) 02:06, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. The title of the single is spelled "Lil' Red Riding Hood", and the title of the album is spelled "Li'l Red Riding Hood", according to, among other citations, the reference works of Joel Whitburn, who never makes a mistake regarding the titles of records.98.149.97.245 (talk) 14:27, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
