Two Problems[edit]

  • I cannot for the life of me find her age, I had to do the math on a herald article.
  • I'm pretty sure the guidelines for articles on transgender people say not to mention their deadname, but I now can't find that anywhere.

@Nauseous Man: Plenty of living people having missing years of birth, so not to worry! On the second point, I tried MOS:DEADNAME to see if it would lead me anywhere and turns out it does. :) You are quite right:

If a living transgender or non-binary person was not notable under a former name (a deadname), it should not be included in any page (including lists, redirects, disambiguation pages, category names, templates, etc), even in quotations, even if reliable sourcing exists. Treat the pre-notability name as a privacy interest separate from (and often greater than) the person's current name.

Editing to Honours and awards section[edit]

hi @49.226.68.122 - i noticed you've been adding a lot of content here and I really appreciate the help!

In this edit you added the paragraph about Lexie being a notable alumni of the University of Canterbury, and provided a source! Great stuff. The second part about celebrating the 150th anniversary is not covered by the link provided, so i removed it. I also reformatted the citation to match with WP:CITE guidelines.

However, in this edit you removed my citation and added back the part of the paragraph that can't be confirmed by the link you cited.

Wikipedia has a Bold, revert, discuss cycle (WP:BRD) and so I'm starting the 3rd stage of that now! Can you describe why this info should be included? Is there a source you can point to (using WP:CITE) that mentions this info?

As I mentioned on your talk page, wikipedia's standards for biographies of living people is very high. WP:BLP has a ton of great info and I encourage you to visit it!

adding @49.226.67.13 because I think they're similar users or have at least been editing in similar time frames! SpookyTwenty (talk) 01:26, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
also adding @Goju Black Beltbecause i suspect they created an acc recently? SpookyTwenty (talk) 01:31, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Goju Black Belt also letting you know you reversed the birthdate changes, which per the other conversation on this talk page is hard to source. Please provide a citation if you change a living persons birthdate
Thanks!
