Someone went to a lot of trouble to find many of Rockefeller's press releases for the awards given over the years. Weird Dates[edit]
This is meant to be an annual prize but it isn't exactly given annually. It looks like they skipped a some years, tried to make up for it, then gave up on trying to make sure that there was one given out per year.
It looks like there were no prizes given in the years 2000, 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2012. However the 2000-2004 awards, the 2006, 2008, and 2009 awards were all given in a different year. There were no 2010 or 2011 award given at all.
- 2000 prize given on 03/27/2001
- 2001 prize given on 03/18/2002
- 2002 prize given on 03/27/2003
- 2003 prize given on 04/08/2004
- 2004 prize given on 03/29/2005
- 2005 prize given on 10/11/2005
- 2006 prize given on 04/24/2007
- 2007 prize given on 10/31/2007
- 2008 prize given on 06/02/2009
- 2009 prize given on 04/26/2010
- 2012 prize given on 06/05/2013
2013 and subsequent prizes were all given in their respective years (at least through 2018).
