When one hears Lenny Welch's theme of "Coronet Blue" one would swer that it is Brit "Shake Dance"-singer Tom Jones" voice; or did Tom Jones mimicked Lenny Welch's cadence, since the Welch's career was well in advance of Jones by years? --50.74.98.212 (talk) 02:04, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Veryverser[reply]

Incorrect date born[edit]

I was viewing the wiki page about lenny welch after seeing a little blurb on the "music choice" cable channel. It listed his birth date as may 15, 1938 and at first I thought maybe it was just an error on their part. I did a google search and found another source that has that same day as his birth date. ^[1]

Yes, I am certain it is 1938 - not only AllMusic but this reliable source^[2] quote that year. I have edited the article accordingly. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 15:22, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
