Proposed deletion of page[edit]

I would like to offer an opinion about the deletion of this page. With regards to the comment "Pointless Article, a good majority of it is just character bios from the Ghostbusters film" - I agree that this article needs a lot of work but a lack of content does not in itself imply lack of notability. I believe that there is "significant coverage" of the topic per WP:GNG. The Lego theme is a franchise that is a separate entity to the general Ghostbusters (franchise). As a Lego theme it is no less notable than for example Lego Jurassic World (theme). It has also received media coverage in terms of its sets (the Ecto-1 and Firehouse Headquarters have received a lot of coverage) and video games. Perhaps it can be expanded with additional sources. According to WP:PROD I may remove the tag if I disagree, so I will go ahead with this. Fieryninja (talk) 14:08, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Striker2020 I think you should expand the article to include more information about the development of the theme and create new sections titled Development and Construction sets. This should help with notability. Fieryninja (talk) 09:30, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja I not quite sure where can I find the source pages about the development of the Ghostbusters theme. Can you help me where to find? Striker2020 (talk) 14:07, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I will try to see if I can find anything. Fieryninja (talk) 14:42, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Fieryninja I found this source page [1] do you this will be OK or how about thebrickfan.com? Striker2020 (talk) 14:47, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes this looks like a good start. I think you will be ok to use the toy news ref. Fieryninja (talk) 15:50, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have added new headings and content for the overview and development sections. I hope this helps. You might want to tidy up the construction set section. Fieryninja (talk) 18:29, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reception section[edit]

@Fieryninja can I add a new reception section just like the example from Lego Super Mario and how do I explain in details? Striker2020 (talk) 08:30, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Striker2020 yes you can add a reception section, so long as you can find any relevant information in the media. It's probably a good idea to look at how the Super Mario section has been written and look for similar sources. Fieryninja (talk) 09:06, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fieryninja your Blocks magazine issue 75 did mentioned about Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set and you can add in the Reception section. Striker2020 (talk) 06:04, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Striker2020 Oh yes sorry there is an article about the Ecto-1. I will have a look at it and try to add something. Fieryninja (talk) 06:39, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Source[edit]

Fieryninja I found this source already dead [[2]] so I will look for a new source. Striker2020 (talk) 10:15, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Striker2020 thanks for picking it up. I noticed a dead source on the Ninjago page too. I tried the Wayback machine but there was no record of it, so might have to just tag as a dead link. If you can't find a source for this one, you could just tag it for now. Fieryninja (talk) 10:32, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fieryninja How to tag it? Striker2020 (talk) 10:35, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Striker2020 sorry, see the template here [3] Fieryninja (talk) 10:40, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
