Comments and questions on the article[edit]

1. "The 14th-century La Pergolana villa, a kilometre north of Lazise, hosts a honey festival during the first weekend of October."

This is not history and it should be in a section of its own.

2. The "Scaliger Castle" section says that the castled was built "maybe just before the father Cansignorio della Scala". That "maybe" does not sound right. Is there a source that justifies the use of that word?

3. After the above, Porta Nuova is introduced but it's not explained until later. The paragraph should be reorganized to introduce and explain what Porta Nuova is and why it was calles like that.

4. An image of the coat of arms of Lazise would be appropriate for the section that talks about it.

5. I think "Traditions and folklore" and "Events" could be merged and include the sentence at point 1 above.

6. The "Events" section introduces "anara col pien". I assume anara is the spelling in Veneto for the word anatra which is Italian. Can somebody born and raised in Veneto confirm?

7. The third, eight and ninth images in the gallery need a caption.
