Merge? I guess not...[edit]

For three weeks this article had a {{mergefrom}} tag for Lauderic Rex Caton/Temp, an apparent temporary page that needs to be merged or deleted. Friend of Caton[edit]

Much of the material in this article comes from Val Wilmer, a writer and photographer who was a friend of Caton. This may affect the impartiality of the article, as in the grandiose claim that Caton "played a key role in establishing the electric guitar in Britain". Claims like this are fairly subjective and difficult to prove even when they are not written by a friend.
