Review requested by Jsniessen[edit]

This looks like a very good effort to me. Thanks for taking it on. Bruin2 (talk) 04:02, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am concerned that using the phrase "Cherokee Strip Land Run" in the opening paragraph may confuse readers who are not already familiar with Oklahoma History. The proper terminology, according to the Encyclopedia of Oklahoma History and Culture, is "Cherokee Strip Opening." The cited article clarifies the distinction between the two terms.
  • I suggest you define the term "boomer," which appears several times. Again, this is for the benefit for viewers unfamiliar with Oklahoma history and culture.
  • A clear map of the Outlet would be a great addition, if someone can locate a public domain version. There's one on Wikimedia Commons, but I don't think it shows up very clearly. If unavailable, maybe a verbal description of its location would suffice. Bruin2 (talk) 04:02, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Bruin - I'll keep plugging away at it! Jsniessen (talk) 04:08, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reclassification[edit]

Looks good except for a few minor things. The see also section list a number of things that are listed in the article itself. You shouldn't link to articles that are already linked within the article. Boomers (Oklahoma settlers), Land run, Land Run of 1889, Cherokee Outlet, Sooners should be removed from the see also.--Dcheagletalkcontribs 22:14, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have implemented your suggestions. Thanks for the input! Jsniessen (talk) 13:19, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
