Death of subject[edit]

Way back in Dec. 2007, an editor indicated that the subject had died in 1999 (link). However, the rationale for this (as given in the edit summary) was "LaMont was my best friend. He died in 1999." We need a better source than this (see WP:SELFCITING). The Allmusic entry does not indicate that the subject that died. Google doesn't show any source for the death year (other than Wikipedia mirrors). Thanks, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I did manage to find a source that the subject did indeed die in 1999 (October 21 to be exact). A rather lengthy obituary appeared in the The San Diego Union-Tribune (link). There is a fee required for accessing the article, but I saved it in case anyone has any questions about its content. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:31, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Down East Records[edit]

The two paragraphs about Down East Records are unsourced. I had managed to add citations for the rest of the article when I found an obituary a few weeks ago. But the source didn't mention anything about Down East Records, and I wasn't able to find anything online. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 23:38, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
