Same rank twice?[edit]

Major General in 1937 and 1939? I think the '39 promotion was to Lt. General, but do not know. Could someone who has access to the records check this?

Also, from Major to Major-General is quite a leap. A little more info as to how this came about would be welcome. 64.129.65.219 (talk) 17:37, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
