Untitiled[edit]

I was reading through the history of Poland in connection with Marienburg Castle (Polish: Marlbork Castle), there was a mention of the Teutonic Order of which Count (Graf) Carl Friedrich Kopański was a member. I noticed that there was no link to this side of the family line, so I decided to add it. I however need help adding reference/links to this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marienburg_castle which would explain the noteworthyness of the entry. Please note the reference is from the German Register of Noble families (Church Register) and has been referenced (Bd.V-IX-X, Limburg 1998, S.107. 1806 mediatised).

As I explained earlier, this page is named "Veronika Theresa von Kopaynski" however it contains absolutely no information on that person, exetp that she was the last of the family together with her sister, which does not make her notable. Therefore it should be moved to Kopaynski as the information in the article is on the family, not the individual. Passportguy (talk) 18:08, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, it should be under "Kopanski" or Kopaynski (Polish)--Schneiderp (talk) 18:10, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could you double check how the name is spelling. "Kopayński" doesn't seem right, google gives a lot more hits for Kopański (ń is pronounced similar to a German/English "yn", so a German spelling "Kopaynski" would make a lot more sense. If Kopaynski is the correct German spelling, I would move it here as this article is mainly on the German branch and not on the Polish one, which could have its own page at Kopański in the future. http://www.infobitte.de/free/lex/wpdeLex0/online/k/ko/Kopanski.htm seems to suggest that the spelling of this branch was Kopaynski, so that's where I'll move this for now. Passportguy (talk) 18:56, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
