In the Komárno article the informal name of Révkomárom is mentioned. Are there any informal Slovak name for the Hungarian Komárom?

No, there are no such names. Juro 14:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tamás Török[edit]

An entry for Tamás Török, Hungarian-Slovak freedom fighter, was made under the "Notable people" section on 28 September 2015 by IP editor 2.99.162.82. It has been the only edit from that IP editor. I was unable to find any reference to a freedom fighter named Tamás Török or in Hungarian word order Török Tamás. There is no entry in the Hungarian Wikipedia for him, although three other people with that name are listed without articles (the author/playwright, the pharmacist/professor and the bass player). He is not listed on their Famous people of Komarom page (hu:Híres komáromiak listája). The only listing in the Slovak Wikipedia for a Török, is for sk:Jaroslav Török, an ice hockey player. I searched elsewhere electronically and found lots about the playwright, but nothing about a freedom fighter (except Wikipedia mirrors and copiers). I did find an interesting report by a military engineer, Ignác Török, colonel of the Hungárián Army, on the role the fortress at Komárom played in the Hungárián War of Independence in 1848-1849. here. And there was the Tamás Török, who until recently was Hungary’s deputy ambassador to Italy. Because it was not verified, I removed the entry. --Bejnar (talk) 17:22, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
