Time tunnel?[edit]

"On November 27, 1940, Nomura was sent as ambassador to the United States, replacing Kensuke Horinouchi (March 1941-July 1942)." Now, either Nomura or Horinouchi were time travellers, or that's a mistake... Can somebody check the dates? TREKphiler hit me ♠ 15:30, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yea, I noticed that, too. Our articles on the Japanese ambassadors to the US are woefully inadequate, in general. In this case, Kensuke does appear to have been the prior ambassador, appointed sometime on or before March 7, 1939: [1]. So, I have no idea what (March 1941-July 1942) means, perhaps those are the dates for the next ambassador after Nomura ? Since I don't know, and can't find this info anywhere, I will remove them.
