Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic ValueBest Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value – Too long name when fully expanded. Category name can be used instead as no other award has the same unique name. Also per common name. --Let There Be Sunshine 16:52, 28 February 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Xain36 {talk} 15:53, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. I don't think title length is an issue per se, given the plethora of film awards out there I think the proposed title sounds too generic. Better to keep "Kerala State" in the title, IMHO. PC78 (talk) 16:11, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strongly oppose This award's identity is that it's a Kerala State Film Award. We also have a similar title in National Film Awards named National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. If the same logic is considered we should be moving it to Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. But it doesn't make sense. The basic identity of these awards is the name "Kerala State Film Award" and "National Film Award" not exactly what category they are awarded for.
