Making up spectral types[edit]

You're kidding, right? You know the temperature so you look up the spectral type in a table? Not only doesn't it work like that (not reliably anyway), but it is plainly original research. There is no source that says this star has a spectral type of M0V, therefore Wikipedia can't say that it does. Lithopsian (talk) 10:56, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Kepler-1229[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kepler-1229's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "kepler-catalogue":

  • From Kepler-61: "Kepler Input Catalog search result". Space Telescope Science Institute. Retrieved 25 July 2015. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)
  • From Kepler-62f: "Kepler Input Catalog search result". Space Telescope Science Institute. Retrieved 18 April 2013.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 17:06, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
