Need to further clarify name of university[edit]

(Disclosure: I am a contractor for Kansas City University (KCU) - previously Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB).) KCU changed its name to Kansas City University in 2016. I am working on updating the name and some other details on the KCU page, and would like to clarify on this page that the university in this entry is no longer open, nor is it the same. This is stated briefly at the beginning of the article, but I suggest the following:

  • Change the title of this article to include the dates the university was open so that at first glance, someone can see that this is no longer operational.
  • Call more attention the two currently operating schools at the beginning of the article, like is done on the University of Missouri page. Both KCU and UMKC are still thriving schools, and making it easier to find them would be helpful for both schools. I propose changing the opening language to:

"Not to be confused with either the health sciences school, Kansas City University (KCU), or the Kansas City branch of MU, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). This article is about the defunct Kansas City University in Kansas." — Preceding unsigned comment added by EJParnell (talkcontribs) 14:09, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
