From Jhajjar district[edit]

I removed a section that looked off-topic and POV:

That India's newest beauty queen comes from the place which has the dubious distinction of practising gender-based discrimination in worst form, is indeed an irony. Kanishtha Dhankar, Miss India World 2011, hails from hails from Jhajjar district in Haryana that shot to infamy for having the worst sex ratio in the country at 774 girls per 1,000 boys in the 2011 census. "Daughters can also be achievers, my achievement will surely help initiate a new thought process in the state against gender discrimination", said Kanishtha, recently in the Capital to promote a new product range of NoMarks, a leading cosmetic brand.[5]

There is a referenced quotation here, but the first two sentences are completely POV. The unspoken implication is that the ratio of boys to girls is a form of discrimination. Now, there is a reliably sourced statement to this effect in the Jhajjar district article, but it doesn't belong here. In any case, the claim to "irony" is original research/personal opinion.
