KakahuKakahu (locality) – Kakahu are also Maori cloaks 185.10.224.66 (talk) 07:29, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support – Per nom. And it's not notable enough to be WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Svartner (talk) 08:31, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. What article would we be disambiguating it from? The "Maori cloaks" link that the proposer puts forward is a link to the German-language Wikipedia! Nurg (talk) 10:03, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't the other kakahu also deserve an article here? 185.10.224.66 (talk) 11:00, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, but no article exists at present, so there is no need to add a disambiguating term to the title at present. Nurg (talk) 02:28, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Technical oppose. There's nothing to disambiguate if it's the only existing topic of that name. Once we have another article of that name, then we can have this discussion. Schwede66 21:48, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
IIRC there was a draft with an attempt to translate the article into English. 185.10.224.66 (talk) 12:14, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per above, it's unnecessary to parenthesise an article title when there is no ambiguity through lack of any other related article. Even if a future notable article by the same name was created, that would not automatically challenge the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Bungle (talkcontribs) 11:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak oppose, as the other article does not exist on English Wikipedia, therefore the disambiguation is not needed for now. Should Kahahu (cloak) be made, a discussion could be later made deciding the primary topic. However, there is a section at Māori traditional textiles#Fine cloaks / kākahu on the topic.
