I am unsure what to do about the clients section, particularly as some of these clients have merged.Ercolev (talk) 04:51, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

the tax shelter section really needs some writing --69.94.194.91 01:55, 30 August 2005 (UTC)

I updated the "legal structure" section because KPMG International isn't a Swiss Verein anymore since September 2003! The company register of the Swiss canton of Zug clearly states that it is now a cooperative, stating that "Die Delegierten und die Verwaltung haben an ihren Versammlungen vom 04.09.2003 die Umwandlung des bisherigen Vereins in eine Genossenschaft beschlossen." ("The delegates and the executive board have decided on their meetings on the 4th of September 2003 to transform the existing Verein into a cooperative.") You can look it up yourself online on zefix.ch, the online search platform for Swiss company register entries (just search for "KPMG International").

Someone should expand on my change though: I removed the "headquartered in the Netherlands" part because the Swiss Verein part was wrong, so without sources I doubt the correctness of the "headquartered in the Netherlands" part - I have no better information at the moment, though. 137.132.3.11 18:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:KPMG.png

Image:KPMG.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Banco Nacional Scandal in Brazil

I have googled the Banco Nacional Scandal in Brazil and can only find find very criptic references to it in English. I suggest it is deleted unless anyone can come up with a decent source in English. Dormskirk (talk) 17:32, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

External link to be added - ILoveBig4.com

I've just added an external link to ILoveBig4.com. Same story as for Deloitte page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Deloitte_Touche_Tohmatsu#External_link_to_be_added_-_ILoveBig4.com

Will be glad to hear your ideas. BIG4PAPA (talk) 19:52, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Staff section

The section entitled Staff seems as though it was created by a marketing department. I may be wrong but I would like to hear the opinion of others Opjohnboy24 (talk) 18:29, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

After looking at the other big four pages it appears they all have this section so I will withdraw my comment Opjohnboy24 (talk) 23:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

I think that the Flexible Futures section, and the crticism of the holiday given for Best Companies is fair. I've moved the citations though - they were previously positioned at the end of the sentence, and therefore weren't relevant to the point made. Lsymington 16:40, 11 June 2011

File:PeatMarwickLogo.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:PeatMarwickLogo.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 31 October 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Notable Former employees

I am renaming the current section 'notable current and former employees' to the above title seeing as none of the people mentioned are currently employed by KPMG, thus this title makes more sense. If someone wants to cover current global leadership a new section should be started for this. brgibson (talk) 03:31, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
