M DUNG and/or Scoop Nesker still with KFOG?[edit]

If not, when released from the station, and maybe where are they today? I always enjoyed listening back in early 90s when I lived in SF. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.121.26.52 (talk) 01:46, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Scoop recently did something for Earth Day on KFOG. (read it here) and who is M DUNG? Perhaps I am too young to remember... anywho, cheers! Julian Maestas 21:11, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
M Dung also had a show called the "Sunday Night Idiot Show" (IIRC), but I haven't heard it or him in awhile. Scoop Nisker still comes by the Morning Show for an "Occasional Scoop" from time to time - often around the Solstices, Earth Day (as mentioned above), and other such events. And he still signs off with his trademark "If you don't like the news, go out and make some of your own!" (or sometimes a specifically-crafted variant). --Davecampbell (talk) 23:02, 4 December 2008 (UTC) (Foghead from way back)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:KFOG2006.jpg[edit]

Image:KFOG2006.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A format change was just announced -- see http://fmqb.name/cumulus-san-francisco-set-to-flip-alternative-kfog-fm-to-simulcast-of-sports-radio-knbr-am/ [I tried some draft changes, but became a mess so I'll let someone more experienced do it] Kevink707 (talk) 20:58, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
