  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts for all three hooks are cited inline, but none of them is very interesting. How about ALT4? The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:31, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT4:... that despite the station's tower collapsing in a storm on July 4, 1982, KKXL AM was able to resume transmission the following day?
  • @Cwmhiraeth: It's not bad, but it's not my personal favorite. (I've edited to correct the call sign for 1982 as KILO became KKXL in 1973; we do have to specify AM because of KKXL-FM.) KILO had a weird birth (new radio stations don't normally result in no construction work!), so I'd have rather focused on that, but this would be OK. Raymie (tc) 20:42, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Raymie: it may be interesting to you, but unless the hook wording is adjusted to imply that this is unique, this is not going to attract much attention. Yoninah (talk) 20:15, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: How about... (This is kinda hard to convey.) Raymie (tc) 21:13, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
ALT0A: ... that the creation of North Dakota radio station KILO utilized existing studio and transmitter facilities and programming that was already on the air?
  • @Raymie: I think it's as simple as saying (and verifying):
  • ALT5: ... that unlike other stations, the signing on of North Dakota radio station KILO involved no new construction?
  • But I still don't see anything hooky in this. It doesn't make me want to click on and read the article. Yoninah (talk) 22:12, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: Thoughts on ALT1, 2 or 4? (There's no ALT3) Raymie (tc) 22:31, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT4 will get more clicks, followed by ALT1. Yoninah (talk) 22:52, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Yoninah: I'd be fine with ALT4. It's not my favorite but it'll work. ALT1 would be fine too. Raymie (tc) 23:33, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Let's go with ALT1. Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 20:05, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
