The topic states that Jungle Records "are licensors of the French legendary Skydog label".
Looking up Skydog brings up Duane Allen, who is aka Skydog. There currently is no article for Skydog Records. Maybe there should be one, explaining what makes the label legendary. I've never heard of them, but then, I'm not from France. Someone from the area could probably shed some light on that label. GaryZ45RPM (talk) 20:12, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Why SkyDog Records Don't Have An Article..[edit]
Skydog Record's Marc Zermati has a well documented (elsewhere on the internet) habit of writing fake online reviews for the artists released by his label..
They are always unbelievably positive and often make ludicrous comparisons to much better artists.
"This band is bigger than the beatles and more popular than elvis presley.."
He then brazenly publishes these laughable reviews under his own name.
Consequently he has been officially warned numerous times and had them removed from various music sites,message boards and blogs worldwide.
Seen as a clown like outdated relic from the 1970's French punk era (!) he is generally ignored by the music media.
SkyDog Records releases out of copyright poorly recorded "live" albums and studio floor leftovers from long forgotten 4th division punks.
It is equally ignored.

Skydog Records should have a page!!![edit]
Skydog are a hugely inflential indie label. They pre-dated Stiff Records (often held up to be the 'first' indie label) by some years, and had already helped set up the London indie distribution company 'Bizarre Distribution' - which gave Stiff an outlet to sell their first records. Eg. Stiff's The Damned 'New Rose' 7" was a co-release with Skydog.
Marc Zermati was around at the beginning of London punk, and organised the first 'punk festival', in France in 1976. Unlike what the (bitter and twisted) previous commenter has alleged, his releases are official with contracts with people like Iggy Pop. He made friends with many artists when he was championing them when they were unknown. In the 80's he also ran Underdog Records.
