Illness section "Met his wife"

The section titled illness currently says: " In 1984, while in the process of divorcing his wife of 35 years, he met Valerie Humphries, the nurse who had helped him to recover, and later married her.[11]" Err, he met the nurse who had helped him recover? If she helped him recover, hadn't he already met her? This sounds to me to be couched in such a way as to refute thoughts that he left his wife for this nurse (he left the wife, then met the nurse), but it is very awkward, as you can't meet someone who has already helped you recover. I'd suggest this be rewritten to clarify what actually happened. Larry Dunn (talk) 13:23, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

I agree the statement needs to be re-worded, but the citation is a dead link. I located another source for the article at "http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-4513460.html"... a pay site. 66.87.0.152 (talk) 21:02, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
The infobox shows that the first marriage ended in 1984, while the text gives 1981. As neither date seems to be cited, I don't know which is correct. Anyone? --CAVincent (talk) 00:18, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
