Inconsistencies[edit]

The composer was listed in the 1919 Bartlett's as J. Augustus Wade, but many variants of his name have appeared, and there is some confusion about a death date. Here is one example of another reader puzzling over the variants way back in 1869. Jokestress (talk) 23:39, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
