Did he hit the smuggler?-[edit]

I am reversing recent edit because it was thought Ramos may have injured him, not Compean. He may have fired in the air??Ekem 00:39, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

should it be merged?[edit]

I say no, because you can write another article which discusses the two men together, perhaps an article which lists both men under the name of the case.Djmimi (talk) 04:52, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article is definitely not neutral. It takes many unverified or unverifiable claims presumeably from the Compean defence/apologists point of view as a fact. Claiming the "illegal alien" was "non-compliant". How do we know this? Is not "illegal alien" something that would be determined by a court of law? If the man went back into Mexico it seems he was not convicted on the occassion in question and such a claim he was an "illegal alien" would be unsubstantiated. Saying he was non-compliant is also subject to question. Who is making this claim? Did the court find this to be true? Simply putting the word "alleged" in a few strategic places along with who alleges these claims might suffice.

I am also not satisfied that the supposed description of the convictions in the first paragraph includes a complete list of all of the convictions.

Another example of the one-sided nature of this article is in the "Events" section. It seems to only present the events put forth by the border patrol agents side of the story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.118.110 (talk) 03:36, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
