He is deceased, since his son has suceeded him.

The above Categories, Category:Place of birth missing and Category:Place of death missing are always appended to discussion pages of biographical articles missing such information. If the subject is alive, then the Category would be Category:Place of birth missing (living people). If the year of death becomes known, but the day and month of death are still not indicated, then Category:Year of death missing would be deleted from the article page and Category:Date of death missing would be added to this page. The final year of activity for Jorge Maria O'Neill, 1997, is within the ten-year decade-long final activity estimate leading up to the subject's 90th birthday in 1998.
