Opening Paragraph[edit]

Comments in the AfD discussion correctly state that the opening para of the 2007 versions of the article are not sustainable (i.e. it is nonsense). Apart from the outlandish claims about his being a "father of radio" (now amended), there is little evidence he even worked with transistors. It can't really be fixed, so should be rewritten to provide a more balanced and career-encompassing summary.coherers (talk) 18:17, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
