Separate Box for Whiskey?[edit]

Some sources, including the IBA, list the recipe for a John Collins as having gin (and specifying that a Tom Collins technically calls for using Old Tom Gin). But since other folk versions of the John Collins use bourbon whiskey, should we have a second box articulating this alternative recipe? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.183.13.85 (talk) 19:13, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

Everything in this article also appears in Tom Collins. Is there anything more that can be said about this drink to warrant keeping it as a separate article? CrowCaw 16:57, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Still relevant!

What's the difference between a Tom Collins and a John Collins? Not sure there are any, other than the name. RhinoMind (talk) 02:12, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category: Cocktails with whisky[edit]

This page is in the category "Cocktails with whisky", despite whisky being mentioned nowhere on the page. It's also not in the category "Cocktails with gin". 76.69.244.18 (talk) 16:37, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
