"40 people from Harpers Ferry tried to take the bell in 2010"? There is no evidence of this, or at least we in Harpers Ferry have not heard of this. I think someone from the town in Mass. wrote this article, and is therefore biased favoring the side with the bell. Harpers Ferry Mayors including Kip Stowell have suggested that the Bell be shared perhaps by exchanging the real one with a replica every 10 years. I would like to see Harpers Ferry represented better in this article, and perhaps even some compromises mentioned.
