The first reference is a dead link[edit]

As said in the title of this post, I just wanted to point out that the first reference is a dead link and needs to be replaced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Derstacker (talkcontribs) 23:59, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Citation Needed" on Fallout: New Vegas song inclusion[edit]

The "Citation Needed" Tag on the statement that a Kay Kyser performance was included in Fallout: New Vegas is superfluous. The game's included credits specify that it is a Kay Kyser performance, and that it is "Jingle Jangle Jingle" as written by Joseph J. Lilley and Frank Loesser. These cannot be easily linked, by virtue of their status as game files, but are direct attribution of both this song (name of song and writers) and the performer in question, by the manufacturer of the game. I've re-added a mention of the song being in Fallout: New Vegas along with a citation referencing the game itself. It also features prominently in one of the trailers (youtube link), though I'm not sure how appropriate it would be to mention that in this article. --205.175.229.96 (talk) 20:10, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the citation back in with reference to other Wikipedia pages that cite the same song. Apple music should provide a stable reference for the song itself, and an additional reference by games scholar Andra Ivănescu (also cited on the Music of the Fallout series Wiki page) should provide sufficient references by precedent.VikingLibrarian (talk) 21:05, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@VikingLibrarian: The Springer book is sufficient, so I've removed the Apple music source. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 01:21, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As a frequent reverter of the unsourced addition, I agree ... its mention on this page is fine now. Graham87 (talk) 10:11, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
